Okay, so this colleague of mine told me about www.exilelifestyle.com
He said it was one of his favorite blogs about some guy who travels a lot and moved from one place to another every 4 months of period.
SOUNDS INTERESTING
My first thought was ‘Ok, so this blog is probably written by a middle aged man, who’s damn rich that he could travel everywhere he wants.’
GUESS WHAT?
I was wrong. Not just wrong. It was beyond wrong. Colin Wright is anyone other than a damn rich middle aged man. Born in the 1985, he’s only a year younger than me (shyte!) and running a design company of his own to get enough provision for his needs. Reading his blog made me feel like I’ve been wasting a lot of years sitting around and do nothing to make my dream of traveling around the world come true. I FEEL OLD.
DEPRESSING (-___-)*
Looking at his way of traveling, I think I can live with that. I can survive with simplicity as long as I canconnect to the internet, I don’t need TV or any other thing to survive. I’m fine with limited clothes as long as they’re clean. I’m okay with moving from one place to another and excited to learn new things at new places. I love learning new culture and meeting new people. Languages have also been my favourite thing to learn. I don't mind sleeping anywhere and eating anything edible.
THE PROBLEM IS
I don't have a flexible job that enable me to travel all around the world unless there's a possibility that I can be a mobile internal auditor...hmmm....guess not, that's quite impossible. Haha. So in the meantime, I can only travel all around South East Asia, with a tight budget and 12 days of annual leave only. SIGH.
Closing words: I DO NEED A MORE FLEXIBLE JOB! Job vacancy anyone?
