I still remember one day when I got thisrevelation about listening to God’s heartbeat. As a child we would love to becarried inside of our father arms, so close that sometimes when he held us wecould actually listen to his heartbeat. And that’s exactly the same thing thatGod wants from us, He wants us to be so close until we can listen to Hisheartbeat and know for whom it’s beating for.
“For God so loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him willnot perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) - NLT
God’s heart is beating in love for the world so much until he gave his one and only son to die in our place. The words "so loved the world" make me think, that God truly loves the world. He doesn't pick favourite. The bible doesn't say that God loves only the righteous or God loves only the Christians or the Jews or other particular criteria. The bible says, "For God so loved the world" it means He loves the alcoholics, He loves the prostitutes, He loves the addicts, He loves gays and lesbians, He loves the poor, He loves the broken hearts, He loves the murderers, He loves the liars, He loves the bad as well as He loves the good. His blood were shed for every single soul in this world even before their life begin.
The verse on Mark 16:15 (NLT) when Jesus said: “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” explains God’s desire for everyone to know how much He loves and cares for them. He wants everyone to know that Good News, that in whatever state they are now, He loves them still and He wants to give their life peace, joy and freedom. That's what it's all about. That's why Jesus had to die, that's the point of the whole books and verses in the Bible. The portray of God's heart. His passion for the people. His heart beats for His love to them.
