"the past will blinds us from what we have in the present and the hope for the future" -- me
nothing is ever tiring than dealing with people who always look back. They can't be grateful for what they have in the present and certainly, they look back an awful lot expecting the future will be as glorious as the future. Well, quoting Aslan from the Chronicles of Narnia..."nothing ever happen twice"
whatever happened in the past belongs to the past, and that's the same with the present and the future. each time frame has its own story and its own tale to tell which differs one from another. usually, people are either linger in the past or dreaming too much about the future that they are forgetting the present, while the most important time frame of those three is the PRESENT.
realising what we have in the present will make us grateful that we have moved on from the past, sometimes it might not be as good as the past, but when we stop to compare what happened between the time we will realise that actually, whatever happens in the present teaches us something. that works the same with the future, having the hope for the future should keep us be more aware for the present, because whatever things we do now will definitely affect the future. we might dream about something BIG but that won't come true if we don't do anything to achieve that in the present
oh well, guess i want to end this post by quoting something from a movie called Bill and Ted, "The best place is here, and the best time is now" start living in your present peeps!
